verify my account balance & to cancel my card, but unfortunately I was too late & my account has been cleaned out. Can I make a fraud claim against that or is it technically classified as my fault?

If you have not yet done so, please do contact us at your earliest convenience to file a Regulation E dispute. You may reach out to us by phone 24/7 at 888-751-9000 or in person at your local TD Bank Store location with your valid photo ID. Once you've filed the dispute with us, our Debit Card Investigation department will investigate the case on your behalf and reach out to you directly with the decision in writing.
