Hi Ines, thanks for getting in touch with us. Sorry to hear about your dilemma but we'll be happy to provide you with some options you can use from your current location!
First, we'd like to let you know that in order to transfer funds internationally from a TD Bank account, you would have to be present with us at one of our Stores. As you're in Barcelona at this time, instead we can recommend that you get in touch with us and we can mail a new debit or ATM card to your current location. You'll then be able to withdraw funds as needed at an ATM, and if we'll be sending you a Visa debit card, you'll also be able to perform a Cash Advance with that card at any local bank.
You'll be able to communicate with us directly by Secure Message if your account is enrolled in Online Banking. To do so, please sign in at http://bit.ly/1eaISlq, click the Customer Service tab and use the Send a Message link with your request. To request a new card using this method, please include the information provided below. Kindly note that to request a new card be mailed to you, if the address on file for your account is different than your current address we'll require the following information in your message:
- Your account number
- Your name
- Address to where the card should be mailed
- Do you want your card to be sent via Federal Express?
- Please include the following statement “I take full responsibility for the card being mailed to the alternate address.”
Please request that your previous card be closed when writing in. Also, if you have not already done so or if we don't have an address in Spain listed on your account, kindly provide the dates and any other locations of your travel for our records. Once we receive your message with this information, we will be able to process your card request.
Additionally, if you have access to a fax machine, you may also fax the information listed above, including the Statement of Responsibility as mentioned, to our Fulfillment Team at 856-533-1138 to have a new card mailed. If your request is faxed, please be sure to include your signature.
If you're not enrolled in Online Banking at this time and are unable to fax your request, feel free to get in touch with us by phone. You may reach us from outside the United States at 1-856-751-9000, or collect with operator assistance from a land line phone by asking the operator to dial 1-215-569-0518.For your convenience, we are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The US country code is 1-011. We'll be happy to help you enroll in Online Banking during your call, and walk you through the messaging process.
