Welcome to the TD Family and thank you for opening an account with TD, Donovan!
If you applied for your new TD Bank account online or by phone and requested a Debit Card during account opening, you should expect to receive your card by mail at the address you provided within 7 to 10 business days. Please note that delivery times can vary depending on your post office. Once you receive your debit card, you will need to activate your debit card.
If you would prefer to have your new Debit Card immediately, you may obtain one by visiting any TD Bank Store near you. To find your closest TD Store location, please visit, https://go.td.com/1f9DSJR. All TD Banks have an instant issue machine where you may obtain a new card, seven days a week! Once at the Store, if you did order a Debit Card online or over the phone that is currently being mailed, please ask the Store representative to close it since it will no longer be useful once you activate the card you will receive at the Store.
You'll also be glad to know that if you're waiting to receive your Debit Card so you can enroll in Online Banking for your account, we do offer ways to sign up without using a card. We welcome you to contact our Banking Specialists 24/7 at 888-751-9000. Upon account verification, we would be happy to get your online account up and running during your call. Similarly, if you plan to stop by a TD Store, you are able to sign up for online access while picking up your new Debit Card!
We also invite you to look here: https://go.td.com/1D7QIEH, where you can familiarize yourself with features about your new checking account.
If you have any questions at all, feel free to chat with us on TD Helps, call us at the number above or stop in at a Store.
We hope to see you soon, Donovan and have a great day!
