I lost my card today and would like to know that even if I close out my card would I be able to reopen or reactivate it. With my luck I will find it after I close it. Would I be able to reactivate the card or would I still need to get a new one?

Hi Courtney, thanks for visiting us at TD Helps today. We are sorry to hear that you have lost your debit card.
If you haven’t already done so, we recommend calling us immediately at 1-888-751-9000 to close your card if you are still unable to locate it. Once your debit card has been closed, we are unable to reopen your card. However; you may request a new debit card be mailed by calling us at the same telephone number listed above. A Banking Specialist is available to you 24/7 and happy to help. Once your card has been closed, we can order you a new card and mail it to you at the address on file. It may take up to 7-10 business days to receive by mail.
You may also visit us at your local TD Store. While you're there to close your card, you could also request a new card and you would be able to receive it immediately at the Store. For hours and locations near you, please take a look here: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
Please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions Courtney!
