I made the money transfer to your bank account by mistake (I need Canada bank but sent to US bank). How long do you hold unclaimed money?

Hi Dmitry, thank you for joining us on TD Helps today. We'd be glad to answer your question about a transfer.
If a wire transfer was submitted incorrectly, then it may be rejected and not successfully received in your account. We would recommend reaching out the financial institution that sent the wire to initiate a trace on it. If the transfer was rejected, then the sending bank should be able to correct the information and attempt to re-send the wire to you.
