I may be moving to Europe permanently next year, will I be able to keep my TD account in the US. I am a US citizen and have had this bank account (with TD) for more than 10 years?

Moving is always a big decision, no matter how close or far. We understand, Una, and would be glad to discuss.
You're absolutely able to maintain your TD account after you move overseas! We even offer services to help you make deposits and check your balance without visiting a TD Store!
While overseas, you're able to use both Online and Mobile Banking. If you' haven't signed up for online access yet, feel free to do so here: https://go.td.com/1lU2qfY. You'll need your account number, ATM/debit card, Social Security Number and email address.
After you sign up for online access, you will be able to use the Mobile Banking App, if you don't already! Take a look here: https://go.td.com/2gkUc4O to learn more and download the App.
We also offer a Bank by Mail service that you're able to use to make check deposits. To mail in a deposit using Bank by mail, all you'd need to do is mail your deposit to the address below:
TD Bank, N.A. ME2-001-033 P.O. Box Number 1190 Lewiston, Maine 04243
When mailing a deposit, please keep the following in mind:
- Cash should not be sent through the mail
- Payee of the check and name on deposit ticket should be the same
- Checks should be endorsed (and restricted "for deposit only")
- Multiple checks should be listed and a total of the deposit listed
- Enclose the deposit ticket, not the carbon copy
- If using a blank deposit ticket, please write the account number clearly
- Do not staple transactions
Using our online platforms also lets you contact Banking Specialists via secure message to discuss your account if you have any questions! To send a secure message using Online Banking, please sign in here: http://go.td.com/1eaISlq and select 'Send a secure message' located in the 'Message Center' on the left hand side of the page. For Mobile Banking, select the option to 'Contact Us' followed by 'Send a secure message' after signing in.
Sometimes sending a message isn't as effective as speaking with a Specialist directly. For these moments, we even have international phone numbers available for you to use. From outside of the U.S., feel free to reach us 24/7 at 856-751-9000 or 215-569-0518 collect from any landline telephone. Be sure to use country code 011 when calling.
In addition to the information above, when you do move it is important to remember to update your address. You can do so when logged in to Online Banking using the Customer Service tab, by calling us 24/7 at 888-751-9000 or by visiting a TD Store before leaving. You're able to review TD locations here: http://go.td.com/1f9DSJR.
If you have any additional questions, Una, please don't hesitate to reply! Enjoy your day!
