My car was financed through TD Auto Finance in March 2016; In September I moved the loan to my employer JP Morgan Chase. Chase paid the outstanding TD Finance Loan. But Chase never updated my NYS DMV that the lienholder was now Chase. The vehicle is paid off with Chase. Chase lost all the paperwork. The DMV NYS still only has TD Auto Finance on the Lein. How do I get a lien release from TD Auto Finance? where they hold no interest in the car?
