To avoid any interruptions to your TD Debit Card usage while away, we do ask that you connect with us to place a Travel Notification on your account. If you're still in the U.S., please connect with our 24/7 Customer Service Line at 888-751-9000. After account verification, our Specialists would be more than happy to help place a Travel Notification on your account. If you prefer, you could also visit your local TD Bank Store. To find a TD Bank near you, we suggest you check out http://bit.ly/TDStores.
If you are enrolled in Online Banking, another option to notify us of your travels is to send a secure message using www.tdbank.com and request the Travel Notification to be added to your account. To send a secure message you must first login to your TD Bank online profile. You can do so by clicking here: http://bit.ly/1eaISlq. On the left hand side, you should see and option to "Send a secure message" located in the “Message Center.” In your message, please include the dates and destination(s) you will be traveling.
As you've mentioned that you are unable to log in at this time, you are able to reach out to us directly to regain access. Feel free to call us using the number mentioned above or visit a TD Store for assistance with your online account.
By placing a Travel Notification, this will help us be aware if we see foreign transactions on your account. Also, please be informed that for your protection we will continue to monitor your card activity even when a notification is set. When traveling, you can make an ATM withdrawal from any machine that displays the VISA or NYCE logo.
