Happy Thursday, Charles, and welcome to TD Helps!
It sounds as though you're looking to have a limit increase added to your debit card, and if this is the case, we'll be more than happy to help!
Here at TD Bank, you're welcome to request a temporary limit increase on your debit card by either calling and speaking with a Banking Specialist, sending us a secure message, or visiting your nearest TD Store location.
To speak with a Banking Specialist, you may simply dial 1-888-751-9000, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, or if you'd like to send us a secure message, you will first want to log into your TD Bank online profile by clicking here: https://go.td.com/1eaISlq. Once you've successfully logged in, look for the 'Message Center' on the left hand side and select 'Send a secure message'.
If you have downloaded our mobile banking app for your smartphone, you may also use this method to send a secure message. From your Mobile Banking, log in and select 'Send a Secure Message' from the side Menu. We generally respond within 24 hours or less.
When sending a secure message to request a limit increase, please be sure to include your full debit card number, as well as the amount you would like your limit raised to.
If you would prefer to visit a TD Store location to make this request, Customer Service Representatives are happy to help during lobby hours. To take a look at Store locations and their hours, please visit http://go.td.com/1f9DSJR.
Typically, when a temporary limit increase is requested, the increase will remain until the end of that business day. Should you wish to have a permanent limit increase added to your debit card, or if your request exceeds $25,000, we ask that you visit your nearest TD Store location to speak with a Customer Service Representative.
If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to connect with us at any of the methods mentioned above, as we're always happy to help!
We look forward to hearing from you soon, Charles.
