Good afternoon, Faith, and thanks for bringing your concerns to TD Helps today.
We'll be happy to help.
Generally speaking, for direct deposits, funds are available to you on the date designated by your depositor. These types of deposits are processed overnight at varying times, and the funds will be available for use to make transactions, such as for ATM withdrawals or debit card purchases, once processing is complete. We invite you to look at our Personal Deposit Account Agreement here: https://go.td.com/2nf0JAI. On pages 40-44, you can find our Funds Availability Policy, along with information about when you'll have access to deposits.
As you stated that the funds for your direct deposit are currently pending in your account, it sounds as if they may already been available to you, and if they are, you'll be able to use them immediately.
If you would like to confirm if your funds are in fact available, you're welcome to contact us directly, and we'll be happy to help!
Our Banking Specialists are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and are always happy to help at 1-888-751-9000. You're also more than welcome to connect with a Customer Service Representative at your local TD Store location, during lobby hours. To take a look at Store locations and their hours, please visit http://go.td.com/1f9DSJR.
We sincerely hope this helps clear up any confusion, Faith, and please don't hesitate to let us know if you have any additional questions.
