Welcome to TD Helps, Joe. We'd be happy to help provide some details.
To add a signer to an existing TD Bank Checking or Savings account, both the account holder and the prospective signer would have to visit a TD Store. If you are able to visit us on the East Coast, please visit us during lobby hours here: http://bit.ly/TDStores and speak with a Customer Service Representative who would be happy to help!
Please make sure to bring proper identification (Driver's License, State issued photo ID, Passport, etc.) and Social Security number.
If you are unable to visit us, we do recommend reaching out to your Home Store for options that may help.
Hope this helps. Have a good one.
