Good afternoon, Kenneth!
We appreciate you coming to TD Helps for assistance with changing your email address, and we'll be more than happy to help!
There are a few different options you have when wanting to update information such as your email address, and we'll be more than happy to provide you with all your options so that you may choose the one that is most convenient for you.
The first and most convenient way you are able to update your email address is to log into your Personal Online Banking, which you can do from here: https://go.td.com/1eaISlq. If you haven't yet enrolled in online banking, that's okay! You can start the process from here: https://go.td.com/1lU2qfY. To fully enroll, you will need your account number, debit card number, Social Security Number, and a valid email address.
Once you're able to access your Online Banking, you'll first want to click on the 'Customer Service' tab. Next, under the 'Update Profile and Preferences' section, you will see a blue hyperlink that reads 'Contact Info'. By clicking here, you will be brought to a different screen where you can update your address, phone number, and your new email address. Once completed, simply hit send!
If you have any trouble, or if you'd prefer to update your email address with a Specialist, our Banking Specialists are here to help 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and can be reached by simply calling 1-888-751-9000. Customer Service Representatives are also happy to help at any number of our TD Store locations, and you're welcome to use the link here: http://go.td.com/1f9DSJR to find your nearest location, as well as their lobby hours and contact information.
You would finally have the option of also sending us a Secure Message to update your email address. To send a secure message, you will first want to log into your TD Bank online profile by clicking here: https://go.td.com/1eaISlq. Once you've successfully logged in, look for the 'Message Center' on the left hand side and select 'Send a secure message'.
If you have downloaded our mobile banking app for your smartphone, you may also use this method to send a secure message. From your Mobile Banking, log in and select 'Send a Secure Message' from the side Menu. We generally respond within 24 hours or less.
We hope this information was helpful, Kenneth, and please let us know if we can answer any additional questions
