Happy Friday, Danielle!
We appreciate you coming to TD Helps for assistance today.
We're sorry to hear that you're having trouble depositing cash into your account, and we'll be more than happy to provide you with all your options so that you may choose the one that is the most convenient for you.
First, it's important to note that you are able to deposit cash or checks into any ATM that is part of the Cirrus or Plus network, regardless of whether this ATM is a TD ATM or not. We would; however, like to take a moment to explain that if you choose to make a deposit at a non TD ATM, please know that we are unable to monitor any transactions that are performed with another financial institution. Because of this, in the event that an error was to occur with your deposit, we would be unable to trace any cash or checks.
Please also note that when a deposit is made at a non-TD ATM, the funds may not be available until the fifth (5th) business day after the day of your deposit. If you'd like to learn more, you're welcome to check out the link here: https://go.td.com/2nf0JAI. On pages 40-44 you can find information in regard to our Funds Availability Policy.
Another option you have to credit your cash to your TD Bank account would be to purchase a money order or official check with another financial institution. By doing so, you would have the option of depositing your check into a non-TD ATM, as mentioned above, or you may also mail us your check, and we'll be happy to process your deposit for you.
If you'd like to mail in your deposit, you may do so to the following address:
TD Bank, N.A.
P.O. Box Number 1190
Lewiston, ME 04243
Like any other deposits, a few simple guidelines apply:
Cash should not be sent through the mail
Payee of the check and name on deposit ticket should be the same
Checks should be endorsed (and restricted for deposit only)
Multiple checks should be listed and a total of the deposit listed
Enclose the deposit ticket, not the carbon copy
If using a blank deposit ticket, please write account number clearly
Do not staple transactions
If you have any questions at all, we're always here to help! Banking Specialists can be reached 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, by simply calling 1-888-751-9000. Or if you'd prefer, you're welcome to visit a TD Store location, during lobby hours, to speak with a Customer Service Representative. To take a look at Store locations and their hours, please visit http://go.td.com/1f9DSJR.
We hope this helps, Danielle! Have a great rest of your Friday.
