Thank you for joining us on TD Helps, Roni. We'd be happy to provide deposit options.
At this time, there are currently no stores near your location, but not to worry! There are many ways to make deposits to your TD account though you may not be near a TD location! One of the most popular ways to make deposits when you aren't near a bank is to use Mobile Deposit. In order to do so, you would have to first be enrolled in Online Banking. If you are not currently enrolled, you can do so by visiting this link: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY. Keep in mind that you will need your account number, your Social Security number, ATM/VISA Debit Card number and email address to complete the enrollment. Once you've signed up, you can enroll in Mobile Banking which allows you to make deposits using your phone! You can download the App by visiting here: http://bit.ly/1hOPk1H. Please note that in order to use the Mobile Deposit feature, you need to be an account holder for at least 90 days. For more information and FAQs about Mobile Deposit please visit http://bit.ly/1e3jiYF.
Another way to make deposits when outside of TD's footprint, is via mail. If you choose to do this, send your deposit to:
TD Bank, N.A. ME2-001-033 P.O. Box Number 1190 Lewiston, ME 04243
Some tips to consider prior to mailing your deposit include:
- Cash should not be sent through the mail
- Payee of the check and name on deposit ticket should be the same
- Checks should be endorsed (and restricted for deposit only)
- Multiple checks should be listed and a total of the deposit listed
- Enclose the deposit ticket, not the carbon copy
- If using a blank deposit ticket, please write account number clearly
- Do not staple transactions
If you have any questions about when your deposit will become available for your use, we invite you to look at our Personal Deposit Account Agreement here: http://bit.ly/1kb17UQ . On pages 35-37 you can find our Funds Availability Policy along with information about when you'll have access to deposits.
We hope these options help you and remember to visit us again with any other questions you may have. Have a great week, Roni!
