I need to download this year's statements for tax purposes from an account which was closed several months ago

As you've mentioned that your account has been closed, it will no longer be available to viewed online. Don't worry, as we can still provide you with the statement copies you need. Please note that TD Bank retains seven years of history for accounts in our records, and we'd be able to provide you with copies from this time frame.
To better assist you, you will need to request your statement copies by stopping by any local TD Bank Store, during lobby hours with your valid photo ID. Any one of our dedicated Customer Service Specialists would be able to assist. To find a TD Bank near you, check out http://bit.ly/TDStores.
Just in case you still have active accounts with us and currently are able to view them via online banking, you may then feel free to call us 24/7 at 888-751-9000 or send us a Secure Message via online banking to request your statement copies.
