Hi there Colleen,
We're more than happy to help this evening with the lien release you need.
We'd first like to let you know that we have two possible lending entities for an auto loan with us – the loan would either have been held with us here at TD Bank, N.A., or with our partners at TD Auto Finance.
To get in touch with TD Auto Finance about a lien release, you can reach Representative directly at 800-556-8172. For your convenience, they are available Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 10:00 pm and Saturday, 8:00 am to 7:00 pm to help. Please also feel free to check out their site here: http://bit.ly/1GaNthy, which might help you find more info.
On the other hand, if the auto loan is with us here at TD Bank, you have a couple of options for your lien release. First, you're able to obtain a copy of this documentation via fax. You can fax the following information to our Consumer Release Department at 207-755-4245:
• Your full name, address, and Social Security number
• The account number, if it is available
• The year, make, model and VIN, and the date it was paid off, if available
• Your request for a Release of Lien
• Your signature
We also recommend including your contact telephone number and your return fax number so that we can assist you as efficiently as possible. Please keep in mind that you'll typically receive your documents within 3-5 business days.
If you prefer, you're also welcome to give us a call to place your request. Our Financial Solutions Group Specialists are available 24/7 at 800-937-5020, who can take your request by phone and have this documentation mailed out to you at the address on file. If you'll be receiving the release of lien paperwork via mail, please allow additional time for mailing, typically 5-7 business days.
Feel free to write back if you have any other thoughts about this, Colleen.
We wish you a wonderful night and take care!
Kristen P, Mount Laurel
