Hi Toby, thanks for connecting with us through TD Helps. We'd be happy to answer any balance questions you have.
If you are not yet enrolled in Online Banking and would like to have full access to view your account(s) and balances online, please follow the steps below:
If you wish to enroll for Online Banking for your personal accounts, you may use our self-service option by visiting http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY to begin the enrollment process. In order to do so, you will need your account number, TD Bank ATM or Debit Card number, your Social Security Number and your email address. Once at the page, please select "Personal" from the drop down box. When you select continue, you will have to read and accept the Online Banking Service Agreement. Then you will be asked to enter your personal information including the items mentioned earlier and to create a user name and password. Finally you will be asked to create three security questions. When you finish the enrollment process, you will have immediate access to your account(s).
If you do not have the required information to set up for Online Banking or you need assistance enrolling, you may contact us 24/7 at 888-751-9000 to speak with a Banking Specialist. Upon proper account verification, we would be happy to help get you started.
Just in case if you are looking to enroll for TD Bank BusinessDirect and you have your debit card, follow this link: http://bit.ly/1dl2HX6. Once you’re at the “Sign Up for TD Bank BusinessDirect” page, please complete the application. You will need your Business Taxpayer Identification Number, account number, ATM/Debit card number, the business name, and your e-mail address. When you are finished with the application, you will receive an e-mail confirmation within 2 business days that contains your User ID and password. In case you don't have a debit card or would like to have immediate access to online banking, you could visit your local TD Bank Store for help. For hours and locations near you, check out: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
Once enrolled, just sign in here: http://bit.ly/1eaISlq (or here for BusinessDirect: http://bit.ly/1rvBmq8) and the first thing you'll see upon login is your account and available balance. Just click on the account you wish to view from here to get full access and information for that account.
Another option to review your balance is by using our new-and-improved Bank-by-Phone system at 1-800-YES-2000 (1-800-937-2000). Upon first use, it will prompt you to enter either your account number or your Debit Card Number, whichever you have available. Then, it will ask you to confirm the last 4 digits of your Social Security Number. After entering your SSN, the system will then ask you to create a unique 4 digit Phone Code to use for future access through the IVR system. This Phone Code will replace your old Bank-by-Phone PIN and is independent of the PIN# associated with your VISA Debit Card. Some tips to remember when creating this Phone Code:
- Create something unique that will be hard for others to guess
- Choose numbers that you can remember, but do not easily relate back to you (i.e. birthdates, addresses, phone numbers, etc.)
- You should not continue to use the last 4 digits of your SSN
- We recommend *not* using the same code as your Debit Card PIN Number to prevent unauthorized access
You may find some helpful information about our Bank-by-Phone system along with a chart of the new menu options here: http://bit.ly/1kjSBmQ.
As this is considered an unsecure forum, we don't have the access to your account that we would need to directly confirm your balance for you. If the above options are not available to you, please reach out to a live Banking Specialist 24/7 at 888-751-9000. We're available to speak with any time day or night, and after proper authentication of your account, we'd be happy to confirm your available balance and answer any other account questions that you may have.
Alternatively, you can always stop by a TD Bank Store to answer all of your balance questions.
We hope this information helps Toby. Have a great day!
