I need to know the exact process for cashing a small CD held by my mother, who recently passed away. I am the executor of her estate, but I DO NOT live anywhere close to a TD Bank Branch.

We offer our sincere condolences and we'll be sure to point you in the right direction.
Please know that an Executor or an Administrator of a decedent’s estate may access the account. Typically this is completed by visiting a TD Store during lobby hours and speaking with a Specialist there. As you mentioned that you are not near a TD Store at this time, we recommend reaching out to a Store directly for further advice on how to proceed.
You are able to take a look at TD Stores and their contact information by visiting here: http://go.td.com/1f9DSJR.
We hope to hear from you soon and have a good morning.
