Hello Balaji, and thank you for visiting us here at TD Helps! We're ecstatic to hear that you would like to join the TD Bank family!
If you wish to open an account to receive funds from India, please let us help you open an account using the method that is most convenient for you.
If you'd like, the option to open an account is available online. We encourage you to review our Checking Accounts here: http://bit.ly/1oXjGgF, or use our Checking Account Selector at http://bit.ly/1vW1xnU. And our Savings products are listed here: http://bit.ly/1hzzhPT, or use our Savings Selector Tool at http://bit.ly/1sxY9Rd. You may use the Open Account button at these links to begin your account application.
To begin the application, you'll need your Social Security number and a valid personal identification such as a Driver's license, State ID, or Passport.
If you open your account online, you can make your first deposit using a debit card linked to an account from another financial institution or a credit card (Visa or MasterCard).
If you'd prefer to open your account by phone, feel free to give us a call 24/7 at 1-888-751-9000 to speak with one of our dedicated Customer Service Representatives. They will be more than happy to help you establish your account. If you open the account by phone, your representative will be happy to provide convenient deposit options.
If you do not have a Social Security Number or if your prefer to visit a TD Bank Store, you may do that as well. Please see http://bit.ly/TDStores to search for the convenient TD Bank Store locations near you.
We hope this information was helpful to you, Balaji! We appreciate your interest in banking with us and have a wonderful day!
