Borrowing & Managing Your Credit
In reply to WILLIAM, PAHRUMP
We understand your concern, William, and we'd be glad to help with the next steps.
The Federal Trade Commission provides this page: http://1.usa.gov/1f6utCgwhich lists the steps you'll want to take to dispute this error. First, you'll want to report the incorrect info to the credit reporting companies and information on how to do this is given there.
The next step would be to report this error to us, TD Bank, if the credit card was reported as one of ours. You may review info to help with this process here: https://go.td.com/1riK35l. Please be sure to follow all of the steps listed on this page, and for a retail credit card, in which we are the servicing bank for, please use the appropriate contact information towards the bottom of the page.
You may also wish to see https://go.td.com/1uLQxMu for our Frequently Asked Questions about this process.
We hope this information helps, William. Have a good afternoon.
