Great question, Scott!
While TD Bank is not able to assist with raising any limits that may be set by clearXchange, we're happy to announce the TD Bank offers a similar service called Send Money!
This feature allows a TD Bank account holder to send, or even request money, from anyone using their phone number or email address. If you'd like to take advantage of this feature, we'll be happy to help!
To start, you must first log into your Online Banking. To do so, click here: https://go.td.com/1eaISlq. If you're not yet enrolled in Online Banking, don't worry! You may enroll by using the link here https://go.td.com/1lU2qfY. You will need your Social Security Number, ATM or Debit Card Number, account number, and a unique U.S. email address in order to do so.
Once you have successfully logged into your account, on the top of your screen you should see a tab that reads 'Send Money'. Once you click on this link, you will be viewing our Send Money feature. If you have not done so already, you will need to register for this service, and once this has been completed, you will have full access!
In order to request money from your renter, simply click on the 'Request' section under the Send Money tab. If you don't already have your renter added to your contacts, you will need to enter in their information. To do so, directly next to the search box, you should see a link that reads 'Add New Contact'. Once you click here, you'll be prompted to enter in their name, and then either their phone number or email. Once you click save, they will immediately be added to your contacts.
Next, you'll want to click on your renter's name, followed by either their phone number or email, whichever you decided to use to request the funds. Enter in the amount you wish to request, as well as the account you would like to accept the funds into, and then press the 'Review' button. After reviewing all the information is correct, you'll then be able to submit your request!
Your renter will receive either a text or an email, and after following the instructions provided, they will be able to send you your funds from their own Financial Institution, free of charge! Please note that some limits may apply, and you can view these limits at the link here: http://bit.ly/2q2Dtp1. We also invite you to check out additional information about our Send Money feature by clicking the link here https://go.td.com/2nUP86H.
If you need any assistance, or have questions, feel free to contact us, 24/7, at 800-493-7562 to speak with our Tech Support Specialists. After account verification, we would be happy to assist.
We hope this information was helpful, Scott! Have a great Wednesday!
