Welcome to TD Helps, Kathryn. We'd be happy to help with your username and password.
If you already know your user name, but have forgotten your password you may update both your user name and password using the "Customer Service" tab after logging in. You can log in to your Online Banking via this link: http://bit.ly/1eaISlq. After you select the "Customer Service" tab, you would then look beneath "Self Service" for the links to change both your user name and password.
If you know your user name and not your password, you may reset your password via the "Trouble Logging In" link beneath the password field. You will now be at the "Reset Your Password" page; there are 4 steps you'll need to go through in order to reset your Online Banking password. Step 1 is to select the account type and input your user name along with the last 4 digits of your Social Security number. Steps 2 & 3 will ask you to answer security questions. After successfully answering the security questions you will then be taken to step 4 where you will be able to create and confirm your new password.
Please keep these helpful password tips in mind while making your new one:
- Use a combination of numbers, letters and special characters, but no spaces
- Your password should be unique. Memorize it and do not disclose it to anyone else
- Avoid using names, dates or numbers tied to your identity (such as birthday, family name, pets, street, etc.)
- Use a password that differs from your other banking, email and social media accounts. Change it periodically, ideally every 90 days
If you do not recall your user name and password or are locked out of your Online Banking account, please contact us directly. You may call us 24/7 at 800-493-7562 and speak with our Digital Banking Specialists. You may also visit a TD Store during lobby hours for help. For hours and locations near you please visit http://bit.ly/TDStores.
We hope this helps, Kathryn and have a good day.
