I would like to deposit some money in my son's TD Bank account. My credit union is closed on Saturday and I would like to make this deposit on Saturday (tomorrow). I would like to deposit the money on line if that is possible.

It's great having you visit us on TD Helps, Janet. We're happy to discuss the options available to deposit into your sons account online. Since you mentioned you are banking with your Credit Union; therefore, we are unable to determine if you can deposit funds from your Credit Union to your son's TD Bank account via your Credit Union Online Banking website. However, we will be glad to introduce you and your son to our Popmoney service, it is a service that is currently available for TD Bank customers, which will allow you to send funds to your son's TD Bank account without having to leave your house. If your son has a TD Bank Checking account and is currently enrolled for Online Banking, he will have the ability to request funds from other people by using this service. To start, he must first be logged into his online account. Next, he would then select the "Person-to-Person Payments" tab and then select "Request Money." he would then fill out the required fields and select "Next." A confirmation screen will appear. Be sure to confirm the information is correct. Once it is confirmed, select "Send Request." The sender of the funds, in this case will be you, will then receive a text or an email with your son's request for funds. After your son completes his request for funds, the funds will take 2-3 business days to reach his account. Please note, that there may be fees for the use of this service. We invite you to take a look at our Fee Schedule here: http://bit.ly/1cTejgt. If your son is not enrolled for online banking yet, he may click here to start the enrollment process: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY. This link will take him directly to the “Online Banking Sign Up” page and choose "Personal" from the drop down box. Once he is at the “Online Banking Sign Up” page, please complete the application. He will need his Social Security number, account number, ATM/Debit card number, and his e-mail address. If he has any trouble with the enrollment, please ask him to contact our Digital Banking Specialists 24/7 at 800-493-7562. If he prefers, he may also visit his local TD Bank Store for assistance. Thanks again for stopping by and enjoy your day.
