As an authorized signer, you are able to allow your accountant access to BusinessDirect by creating a sub-user role. Roles can be added, edited and deleted from the Manage Roles page in BusinessDirect.
You are able to sign in to BusinessDirect here http://bit.ly/1rvBmq8 to complete the following steps to create the new role:
1. Click on “Users”
2. Click on "Manage Roles"
3. Select "Create New Role"
4. Type in role name and role description
5. Choose account access for the role
6. Click on “Assign These Permissions”
On this page specific access and permissions can be set-up to the BusinessDirect site. To give the ability to only view accounts, you would assign the account portfolio to Accounts access only. Note: Sub-users cannot be deleted; they can only be marked as disabled and would not be able to log in to the site. Sub-users have their own User ID, password, security questions and answers. When a sub-user signs on for the first time, he or she will have to go through the same process of changing the password, accepting the User Agreement and setting up security questions. Next, you'll create the User by following these instructions:
1. Click onto "Manage Users"
2. Choose "Add New User"
3. Complete each text box (for "Status" please select "Active")
4. In the "Role" section please select the name of the Role you created from the drop down box.
