I have a student checking account and wanted to know if there were fees for transferring to a non-TD bank account

As a TD Customer, you can certainly transfer funds from your TS account to anyone within the US. To do so, you can utilize our Person-to-Person payment feature via your TD Online Banking. For more details, check out: http://bit.ly/1cz3aim.
To use the Person-to-Person transfer feature, you must be enrolled in Online Banking. If you have not enrolled yourself, you can do so for free here: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY. You will need your Social Security number, your TD Bank ATM/Visa Debit Card, your account number, and your e-mail address. If you do not have a debit or ATM card, please call our 24/7 Banking Specialist at 1-888-751-9000 to enroll. You may also feel free to visit us during lobby hours and please click here: http://bit.ly/TDStores to find a TD Bank near you.
Once you have logged into your Online Banking, you may click on the tab at the top of the page titled "Person-to-Person Payments." You will then be asked to accept a user agreement, review the fee schedule and confirm your email and phone number. A text and email code will be sent to the mobile number and email address we have on file for you. Next we will request you to submit both codes for verification to complete the enrollment process. Once the enrollment is complete you’ll be ready to send the payment!
You will have two delivery options when sending a Person-to-Person payment; there is the three business day option and the next business day delivery. Please note, the next day delivery option is not available for savings accounts. To qualify for the next day delivery option, you must wait 90 days from your first successful 3-day transfer and must not have had any transactions that overdrew your account in the past 90 days.
