Hey Cristina! Thank you for stopping by TD Helps and we appreciate you sending your question this way.
If you are currently enrolled for Online Banking, you may be eligible to send money to your landlord by signing up for our POP Money service. In order to be eligible for using our POP Money service, you must have a TD Bank Personal Checking account, a unique United States phone number, a United States issued Social Security Number, and a valid e-Mail address. To initiate a Person-to-Person payment you’ll need to be logged in to Online Banking, please follow this link to log in: http://bit.ly/1eaISlq. Once there, please follow this steps:
- Select the tab that says Person-to-Person payments at the top of your Online Banking screen to enroll in the service.
- Then, you will be asked to accept a user agreement, review the fee schedule and confirm your email and phone number. A text and email code will be sent to the mobile number and email address we have on file for you.
- Next we will request you to submit both codes for verification to complete the enrollment process. Once the enrollment is complete you’ll be ready to send the payment and in the next three business days the funds will be received.
If you are not currently enrolled for online banking and wish to enroll for online banking for your Personal Checking account, you may use our self-service option by visiting http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY to begin the enrollment process. In order to do so, you will need your account number, TD Bank ATM/Debit Card, and your email address. Once at the page, please select "Personal" from the drop down box. When you select continue, you will have to read and accept the Online Banking Service Agreement. Then you will be asked to enter your personal information including the items mentioned earlier and to create a user name and password. Finally you will be asked to create three security questions. When you finish the enrollment process, you will have immediate access to your account(s).
If you do not have the required information to set up for Online Banking or you need assistance enrolling, you may contact us 24/7 at 1-800-493-7562 to speak with a Digital Banking Specialist. Upon proper account verification, we would be happy to help get you started.
Please note, there are limits in place for your protection. If the amount you wish to send is higher than the limit or POP Moneyis not an option for you at this time, you do have the options to write a check or send a bill payment. You’re welcome to check out http://bit.ly/1pADlWD for all of the exciting details of our POP Money service and for our fee schedule, please follow this link for more information: http://bit.ly/1cTejgt.
Cristina, we hope the information provided help. Let us know if you have any further questions and have a great one.
