Welcome to TD Helps and thank you for sending us your question, Michael.
You can certainly request a wire transfer if you have an active TD Checking, Money Market or Savings account. The information needed to send a wire transfer depends on if the wire is going to be domestic or international.
If you are sending a domestic wire transfer, all you need to gather from the receiver's end will be the name and address of their bank, routing number, account number and receiver's full name.
If you are sending an international wire transfer, you will need to provide the name and address of the receiving bank, as well as their SWIFT/BIC code. You will also need the name on the account to be credited, the beneficiary address and the account number. Please also feel free to review additional information on sending international wires at http://bit.ly/1oowsYN.
We utilize the services of correspondent and/or intermediary banks to transfer funds to banks overseas. These banks might charge a fee for their services, and the correspondent and/or intermediary bank might deduct these fees from the wire transfer amount. Please note that we do not process or disburse funds from wire transfers received designated Pay Upon Proper Identification (PUPID) and return them to the sender. For more information on fees for wire transfers, please take a look here: http://bit.ly/1cTejgt.
Once you have gathered all the information, you may visit your local TD Bank Store to fill out the necessary form to initiate an outgoing domestic or international wire transfer. To find out the nearest TD Store near you, please visit, http://bit.ly/TDStores.
If you have any other questions, please do not hesitate to ask!
