Hi there Andrew,
Great question and you have two options if you'd like a recurring ACH transfer to or from your TD Bank account.
Through TD Bank, we can offer you the option of transferring funds between your accounts here and accounts you own at other financial institutions. This is completed via External Transfers, available through your Online Banking account. You're welcome to send or receive money using this feature and the transfer would be an ACH. Other than this, you are also able to contact your other bank to see if they are able to debit or credit your account via an ACH transfer. We'll be glad to review our External Transfers feature with you here.
If you are already enrolled for Online Banking, please click here to log in: http://bit.ly/1eaISlq. If you're not yet enrolled, you will want to be in order to use this service, and please find our enrollment self-service link at: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY to sign up. You'll need your account number, ATM/Visa Debit card number, your Social Security number and email address. Once there, you will need to choose Personal from the drop down box and complete three steps. After those steps are completed, you will have immediate access to your account(s) online.
After logging in to your account, please choose the "Transfers" tab. Then click on "Transfer to Accounts Outside TD Bank." You will then be asked to accept a user agreement and review the fee schedule.
After the enrollment is completed, you may continue to schedule a transfer by adding your account at a different institution. To do so, select "Add a New Account." You will then be prompted to select the type of account followed by the account and routing numbers. Once you enter the required fields, the transfer service will then display whether or not you can make an immediate transfer. In some cases, a trial deposit is initiated at the receiving institution for verification purposes.
When sending an External Transfer, you will have two delivery options, three day or next day delivery. To qualify for the next day delivery option, you must wait 90 days from your first successful 3-day transfer and must not have had any transactions that overdrew your account in the past 90 days. Please note that fees may apply for External Transfer service. For the Transfers Terms and Conditions please see: http://bit.ly/1lkiC6K, and for more information on the fee schedule, please take a look here: http://bit.ly/1cTejgt.
If you find you have any questions about using this service, or need assistance with your online enrollment, please contact a Tech Support Specialist anytime 24/7 at 800-493-7562 who can assist you over the phone, or visit your local TD Bank Store. Please find a list of our Stores convenient for you at: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
We hope this clears up your question today, Andrew.
