THE RECIPIENT HAS NOT RECEIVED THE CHECK ISSUED BY THE BRANCH and mailed by me to California. CAN WE PUT A STOP PAY ON
IT AND GET ANOTHER ONE ISSUED? I HAVE A PHOTO COPY OF THE CHECK. PLEASE LET ME KNOW.

First, we'll be able to check with our Official Check Department to determine if the item has been cashed. To do so, you're welcome to give one of our Banking Specialists a call at 888-751-9000. Although we are available 24/7, you'll want to contact us during standard business hours so that we can review the item for you with this department. When you call, you'll need the official check number, the amount, payee and date of issue so that we can find out more for you, which should be available on your receipt. If you don’t have this information, you're welcome to visit us at the TD Bank Store where you purchased the check for assistance.
If it has not yet been cashed, since it may be lost, we can place a Stop Payment on it for you. Please keep in mind that stop payments for official checks can only be made in the event that the item is lost, stolen, or destroyed. To place the stop payment, please visit us at your TD Bank Store and you can find your location and hours here: http://bit.ly/TDStores, and we'll need the same check information listed above for the stop payment. Kindly note that a replacement Official Check won't be able be issued until 90 days from the original issue date of the first check.
Otherwise, we would recommend contacting the shipping service you used to mail the check to determine if they may provide any other options to you.
