Thank you for opening an account with us, Sandra and welcome to the TD Family! We'd be glad to help.
After online account opening, there is not a way to log back in to the account opening process in order to make a deposit. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
We do offer other ways to make a deposit to your account. You are able to visit any TD Store during lobby hours to make a deposit with a Teller. To take a look at TD Stores near you and their hours please visit http://bit.ly/TDStores.
You're also able to mail in a deposit using our Bank by Mail service. All you would need to do is mail your deposit to the address below:
TD Bank, N.A. ME2-001-033 P.O. Box Number 1190 Lewiston, Maine 04243
The P.O. Box is checked daily and transactions are posted the same day.
We recommend visiting http://bit.ly/1kb17UQ to learn more about our funds availability policy starting on page 38. Also keep in mind that the TD Bank is not responsible for items lost in mail. Here are some additional tips to consider prior to mailing your deposit:
- Cash should not be sent through the mail
- Payee of the check and name on deposit ticket should be the same
- Checks should be endorsed (and restricted "for deposit only")
- Multiple checks should be listed and a total of the deposit listed
- Enclose the deposit ticket, not the carbon copy
- If using a blank deposit ticket, please write the account number clearly
- Do not staple transactions
If you've requested a Debit Card during the account opening process, once you receive it, you'd also be able to make a deposit in any TD ATM or any ATM listed in the NYCE shared deposit network. Keep in mind that any deposits made at non-TD Bank ATMs will take longer to clear your account.
If you have any further questions, you can give us a call 24/7 by dialing 888-751-9000 or visiting your local TD Store.
We hope this helps, Sandra and have a good day.
