Welcome to TD Helps, Pooja.
It's great to hear that you're interested in joining the TD family, and we'll be happy to answer any questions or concerns you may have!
Before we begin, we'd first like to review with you the current accounts available at TD Bank. As you mentioned that you're interested in obtaining a debit card, you may be interested in opening a Checking account, and you can learn more by clicking here: https://go.td.com/2eQORxu. We also offer Savings accounts, and you can use this link: https://go.td.com/2bSlkVn for more information. If you're having trouble deciding, feel free to take advantage of our Selector Tool here: https://go.td.com/2sx4N2E.
While we understand that you may be unable to speak English, please don’t worry, as we're here to help! When you're ready to open your account, you can call 1-888-751-9000 to speak with one of our Banking Specialist. Upon your request, they'll be more than happy to have a translator available to assist you with any questions or concerns you may have, as well as open your account! During your call, please be sure to have a valid form of I.D. handy, as well as your Social Security Number, as this information will be needed to successfully open your account.
We'd also like to mention that you can open your account using the links above, or by visiting your nearest TD Store location, during lobby hours. To take a look at Store locations and their hours, please visit http://go.td.com/1f9DSJR.
Once your account has been opened, you will not be required to fund the account right away; however, depending on the account type, fees may be assessed should a minimum daily balance not be met. To learn more about minimum daily balance, you can use the links above. Under the account you're interested in, you may click 'View More Details' to learn more.
We hope this helps, Pooja, and please don't hesitate to let us know if we can answer any additional questions for you!
We look forward to having you as part of our TD family, and we hope you have an excellent weekend.
