I opened a Student Checking Account and have not yet received my debit card. I got two pieces of paper in the mail but no card. Is this normal?

Thanks for stopping by the TD Helps Community, Natalie. We're so glad to hear you opened an account with us, and we're happy to help.
If you applied for your new TD Bank account online or by phone and requested a new debit card during account opening, you should expect to receive your card by mail at the address you provided within 7 to 10 business days. Please note that delivery times can vary depending on your postal office.
If you would prefer to have your new debit card immediately, you may obtain one by visiting any TD Bank Store nearby you. To find your closest TD Store location, please visit, http://bit.ly/TDStores. All TD Banks have an instant issue machine where you may obtain a new card, seven days a week, and you'll be able to leave with a card in hand! Once at the Store, if you did order a debit card online that is currently being mailed, please ask the Store representative to close it since it will no longer be useful once you activate the card you will receive at the Store.
And you'll be glad to know that if you're waiting to receive your debit card so you can enroll in Online Banking for your account, you'll be able to do so right away, no need to wait for your card! We welcome you to contact our Banking Team 24/7 at 888-751-9000 to speak with a Banking Specialist. Upon proper account verification, we would be happy to get your online account up and running during your call.
We also invite you to look here: http://bit.ly/1D7QIEH, where you can familiarize yourself with features about your new checking account. If you have any questions at all, feel free to chat with us on TD Helps, call us at the number above or stop in at a Store.
We appreciate your visit, Natalie.
