I opened and account in NYC (Manhattan area) and I was looking for my routing number and came across New York – Metro NYC or former Commerce customers, and New York – Upstate NY or former Banknorth customers. Which one applies for me?

Your routing number is based on the State where you originally opened your account, and based on the information you have already provided us with, it sounds as if you may have located the two routing numbers available for the New York area.
If you opened your account in New York City, your routing number would be the New York – Metro routing number, which is 026013673.

If you currently have access to your Online Banking, you may also send us a Secure Message. To send a secure message, you will first want to log into your TD Bank online profile by clicking here: https://go.td.com/1eaISlq. Once you've successfully logged in, look for the 'Message Center' on the left hand side and select 'Send a secure message'.
If you have downloaded our mobile banking app for your smartphone, you may also use this method to send a secure message. From your Mobile Banking, log in and select 'Send a Secure Message' from the side Menu. We generally respond within 24 hours or less.
