close my account but i am not sure what I need to do and i cant ring because you are an American Landline. I opened an TD account when I was travelling in the States. I am now back in New Zealand and have been for over a month now. I need to close my account but i am not sure what I need to do and i cant ring because you are an American Landline.

If you are not currently enrolled, you can sign up by clicking here: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY, if you have your TD Bank Visa Debit Card or ATM number, and a US Social Security number. If not, you're more than welcome to contact a Digital Specialist directly for assistance with enrollment. Once you're enrolled, you're welcome to use this service to help you keep track of your account, and you can even communicate with us whenever you'd like using our Secured Messaging service available once you log in. In the meantime, please contact us from outside the United States via phone at 1-856-751-9000, or collect with operator assistance from a land line phone by asking the operator to dial 1-215-569-0518.
If you still wish to close your TD Bank account, we respect your decision and can share some instructions with you.
If your account is currently at a zero balance, you may contact us directly at the numbers provided above. After account verification, our Banking Specialists would be more than happy to help. You can also send a Secure Message after logging in to your TD Bank online account as previously mentioned. Please find the Customer Service tab and use the Send a Message link to submit your request.
If your account has remaining funds, an easy way to close the account is via mailed written request. You may request to close your account and have any available money in your account be sent to you by check. You can mail a request with the following instructions:

▪Your current address
