I opened up a savings account online and I entered all the information from my other bank to make a deposit, but then it says to go to a bank and make your first deposit. How do I know the transfer went through?

Typically, a bank-to-bank transfer is made using the routing and account numbers (an ACH transaction), which usually take 2-3 business days to arrive. We recommend that contacting the initiating bank for specific information about the status of the transfer.
