Welcome to TD Helps and thank you for sending us your question, Sarah.
We would like to let you know that even though you are unable to add a DBA to a personal account; our complete business product offering is designed to meet your needs and to make your business banking hassle-free. We have products with all the features you need to help you achieve your financial goals. You may want to review the types of business accounts we offer. If you take a look here, http://bit.ly/1lWgAhe , the link shows the types of business checking accounts that we offer. Our web page can even make a selection based on your needs with the Business Checking Selector tool: http://bit.ly/1lGeYmw. If you have any questions while reviewing these options, a Business Banking Specialist would be happy to assist you over the telephone. You can reach them by dialing 855-278-8988.
If you wish to open a business account, the account signer(s) must visit a TD Bank Store and be present for the account opening process along with the following documents: a valid photo I.D. (Driver's License, Passport, Military I.D. etc.) and Social Security number. For a non-resident aliens opening a business account, you will need two valid forms of ID and a W-8Ben must be completed during the account opening process. Also, be sure to bring the Tax Identification Number for your business. To find out TD Store locations near you, please visit, http://bit.ly/TDStores.
We hope this helps, Sarah. If you have any other questions, please do not hesitate to write back. Enjoy your day!
