Welcome to TD Helps, Michele. We hope you're doing well.
We believe that you may be referring to an account you once had with us, which might've been charged off. If this is the case, we kindly ask that you contact our Recovery department at 800-354-9769 to check the balance that may still be owed on the account. Representatives are available Monday-Thursday 8:00am-7:00pm, Friday 8:00am-6:00pm, closed Saturday and Sunday.
Once the balance has been paid off, you may then open a new account with us. To view and compare our checking accounts, please click here: http://bit.ly/1oXjGgF. To view and compare savings account products, click here: http://bit.ly/1g5vhXQ. We also have a product selector tool: https://go.td.com/2sx4N2E which may help you decide which account best fits your banking needs.
Once you have decided on the account type you wish to open, you may open the desired account by visiting your nearest TD Bank Store, or giving us a call. You may reach us 24/7 by dialing 888-751-9000, and click here: http://bit.ly/TDStores to view our Store locations and hours.
We look forward to speaking with you, Michele, take care and happy Holidays!
