Duplicate holds like this are not uncommon if you used your credit or debit card. It is most often due to the machine being unable to read your card, or an error transmitted when your card is swiped. Therefore, the card may have been swiped a second time and two authorizations get transmitted to us. Please be sure to monitor your account to ensure that the duplicate pending authorization will not post to your account.
You may first contact the vendor to determine if they will credit your account. If you are unable to reach them or if they are unwilling to credit you back, you may file a dispute.
If both transactions have posted to your account, to better assist you we recommend contacting one of our Banking Specialists 24/7 at 888-751-9000 so we may review this further with you and possibly file a dispute.
