I keep getting redirected to the Samsung Galaxy link, which I unfortunately cannot use, given I am neither on Sprint or Verizon.

Thank you for your reply, and I apologize, as I may not have stated my question correctly. I'm not currently a member of TD Bank, but am looking to open an account for our family. I followed a referral link through a third-party website that provided a positive review of your checking options, but was disappointed to learn that only the Samsung Galaxy promo was showing up.
We are definitely interested in opening an account with TD Bank, but unlike the bonus, the Samsung Galaxy isn't very useful at all, given we cannot use it, nor do we wish to enter into a 2-year contract with a different carrier.
I apologize for the miscommunication, and appreciate any additional information you can provide.

To make a first deposit online, you may use a debit card linked to an account from another financial institution, a credit card (Visa or MasterCard) or you can stop by your local TD Store to make a deposit.
There are 5 steps with series of questions you will need to fill in during this account opening process. The first step is the "Account Info", you will need to input the account type you are looking to open and whether you want a TD Debit Card or not. The second step is your "Personal Info". This is where you authenticate your identity so you will need your Social Security number and your Driver's license, State ID, or Passport for this portion.
