I don't recall opening the account although I do have a Think or Swim account. Is there any money in the account? What can I do to reinstate the account?

Welcome to TD Helps, William. We'd be happy to look into your concerns with you.
If you haven't used your account, your account status could be inactive, meaning that there have been no deposits or withdrawals for a year. If you haven't used your account for longer than a year, your account may now be listed as dormant. Please note that after 3-5 years of an account maintaining the dormant status, any remaining funds in the account may be turned over to the State. In order to reactivate an account that has been listed as inactive or dormant, we ask that you visit us during lobby hours at any TD Store. By making an over-the-counter deposit with one of our Tellers, your account status will be returned to active. To take a look at TD Stores near you please visit http://bit.ly/TDStores.
If you would like to discuss your account status further, we recommend contacting us directly for assistance. You may do so 24/7 by dialing 888-751-9000 or by visiting a TD Store during lobby hours for options on bringing the account status back to active.
We welcome you back to TD Helps with any other questions, William, and have a wonderful upcoming weekend!
