When I opened my account about a year or so ago I received two temporary checks. It has both my routing and account number listed, but just not may name. Can I still use these to make a payment?

Good morning, Ashley!
Thanks for bringing your question to TD Helps today. We'll be happy to clear up any confusion you may be experiencing.
Generally speaking, check orders can take anywhere from 7-10 business days to be delivered, and because of this, when an account is opened, we're happy to provide our Customer's with temporary checks so that they'll have the ability to make any needed payments!
As you mentioned that you still have temporary checks in your possession from when you opened your account, you're welcome to use them as needed as long as the account number listed on the checks is still active. Additionally, we'd also like to recommend connecting with your payee directly before making any payments with a temporary check. As the checks in your possession do not include your printed name, the ability to accept this item for payment would be up to your payee.
We'd also like to take a moment to assist you with ordering checks for your account, should you have any future payments that you need to make. Currently, you have the ability to order checks on your own through your Personal Online Baking, or you may even connect with us over the phone or at a TD Store location.
To order checks through your Online Banking, you'll first want to log in, which you can do by clicking here: https://go.td.com/1eaISlq. If you haven't yet enrolled, that's okay, as you can click here: https://go.td.com/1lU2qfY to get started. To fully enroll, you'll need your account number, debit card number, a valid email address, and your Social Security Number.
Once you've successfully logged in, you'll next want to select the 'Account Options' tab, and then click 'Account Services.' Towards the top of your page, you should see an 'Order Checks' section, and after selecting the account number you'd like to order checks for, click the 'Order Checks' button. From here, you'll be redirected to our partners, Harland Clarke, webpage where you'll be able to place your order!
If you'd prefer to have your order placed with a Specialist, we're here to help! Banking Specialists can be reached 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, by dialing 1-888-751-9000, or you may also visit a TD Store location to speak with a Customer Service Representative, during lobby hours. To take a look at Store locations and their hours, please visit http://go.td.com/1f9DSJR.
We hope this information was helpful, Ashley, and please don't hesitate to connect with us if you have any additional questions or concerns.
