I recently just opened a new bank account and I work for the town, so if I deposit my paycheck will it still take 7-10 days to verify or would it be the standard avaliblity time?

Thanks for visiting us at TD Helps today, Gabriella! Great question.
We're so glad you've chosen to open your new account with us. Thank you!
With any new bank account, we can hold check deposits for up to 7 business days for verification. This is only for the first 30 days after account opening. After 30 days, check deposits are generally made available the following business day. There are instances when we may still hold a check for additional verification, usually for large dollar amounts.
We encourage you to check out pages 41-44 of our Personal Deposit Agreement for additional info about funds availability. There's even a section for new accounts. You can find that by clicking here: https://go.td.com/2nf0JAI.
If you have any additional questions, please don't hesitate to give us a call 24/7 at 888-751-9000 or stop in to see us at any of our Stores. To find one near you, please click here: https://go.td.com/1nq31dc.
Thanks again for choosing TD Bank, Gabriella! We hope you're enjoying your Labor Day.
