Great to see you Sandra,
We know this can be a bit confusing so we'd be happy to clarify this for you here.
First, we invite you to take a look at this page: http://bit.ly/1AlCYEy for more information regarding the TD Debit Card Advance option available through TD Bank.
If you're currently using this overdraft service, please note that this is optional overdraft service we offer with our checking accounts that may help you avoid debit card declines. If your account is enrolled in this service, we may allow you to authorize ATM transactions or one-time debit card purchases even if you don't have enough money available in your account. This particular program refers to transactions made with your debit card only, and is not related to checks.
With regard to any checks you may write, we ask that you take a look here: http://bit.ly/Yv0ulC for more specific information, under "Standard Overdraft Practices." These types of items may be paid at the Bank's discretion and you can find more information on that page.
Kindly note that Overdraft fees can apply per item (up to five per day), and you can see more on our Fee Schedule here: http://bit.ly/1cTejgt.
To review your account and learn more about how your account is set up and what you can expect, we invite you to give one of our Banking Specialists a call. For your convenience, they are available 24/7 at 888-751-9000 and can review your account with you in further detail at that time.
Or, if you'll be nearby one of our Stores, feel free to stop in during our extended lobby hours. If you click here: http://bit.ly/TDStores, you can find the TD Bank Store and lobby hours nearest you.
We certainly hope this helps, Sandra.
Please feel free to reply with any questions and have a great afternoon!
