Thanks for writing in us on TD Helps, David.
At TD Bank, we offer different types of accounts, each of which has its own balance requirement. We encourage you to review our Checking accounts here: http://bit.ly/1oXjGgF and our Savings accounts here: http://bit.ly/1hzzhPT. We also offer Selector Tools which can be helpful when trying to find an account which will best suit your needs. For the Checking Selector Tool please click here: http://bit.ly/1vW1xnU or here: http://bit.ly/1sxY9Rd for the Savings Selector Tool. Please note balance requirements are per specific account unless otherwise noted with "combined minimum balance."
Once you've decided on an account, you may use the "Open Account" button on these links to begin your account application online. You also have the option of calling 888-751-9000, 24/7 to open an account online. As always, you have the option of visiting a TD Bank Store for assistance. Please check out: http://bit.ly/TDStores for a listing of TD Bank locations and hours.
We hope you find this helpful and feel free to stop by again if you have any more questions.
