Thanks for dropping by TD Helps, Adrienne! We'll be sure to provide some information regarding your stop payment question.
If you think the check may have gotten lost in the mail, we recommend placing a stop payment on the check in question.
Please take a look below at the following options for placing a stop payment on a check.
Feel free to give us a call 24/7 at 888-751-9000, visit us at any TD Bank during lobby hours or you can place a stop payment through online banking. Please make sure you have the check number, exact amount of the check and who the check is made payable to for the stop payment to be placed effectively. Click here: http://bit.ly/TDStores to find a TD Bank near you.
If you're not currently enrolled for online banking, you may do so by clicking: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY. You will need your account number, ATM/debit card number and Social Security number to enroll online. Once you're logged in, please click on the "Customer Service" tab and then "Stop Payment."
Please note there may be a fee applied for a stop payment. Please visit: http://bit.ly/1cTejgt to view our fee schedule.
We hope this information is helpful and enjoy the rest of your evening, Adrienne!
