of the check was not more than 100 U.S. Dollars. So now where do I go? Are you not my bank? Do I need to get another? I tried to deposit a GBP (Great British Pound) currency check into my American TDBank Checking Account. It was rejected because the value of the check was not more than 100 U.S. Dollars. So now where do I go? Are you not my bank? Do I need to get another?
I've been getting these checks for years, switch to TDbank as my primary bank and now I can't convert the check.
Is this really a policy, does TD Bank not cash British checks worth less than $100 US? This is so ridiculous if it is true. Or did the clearwater, FL branch just put it aside and decide not to do it.

In order to accept a Foreign Check, the check must have an equivalent value of at least US $100.00. We apologize for this inconvenience.
Thanks again for your visit today! We welcome you back anytime with any other questions, and take care.
