I tried to set up online banking to check my balance on a debit card and set it up for the first time giving social security and other personal information on the td bank website and did not receive confirmation and then I could not log in. I am worried that because I never received confirmation that it could have been a bogus site with my social security and debit information. Should I have received some type of confirmation or is it possible I did not finish the process?

We understand your concern, Branford and we'd be glad to discuss.
When you complete the Online Banking enrollment process, the system grants immediate access to your account online. If you were unable to view your accounts after signing up, it may be possible that the full enrollment was not completed.
Please know that if you've enrolled for BusinessDirect, you will receive a confirmation email within two business days that contains your User ID and password. If you are unable to location this email, be sure to check your spam or junk folder to ensure your email did not automatically remove it from your inbox.
You are able to visit the enrollment page here: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY. If you are certain you've completed the full enrollment, you are able to contact our Banking Specialists 24/7 for confirmation and if you're having trouble logging in. You are able to reach them by dialing 888-751-9000.
Similarly, you are able to visit any TD Store during lobby hours for assistance. To take a look at TD Stores near you please visit http://bit.ly/TDStores.
We hope this helps, Branford and have a good day.
