It sounds like you're referring to our external transfer service through online banking. We'd first like to clarify that this service can only be used if you are transferring funds to an account that you have outside of TD Bank. If you are an authorized signer on the account at Sun Trust Bank, then this is the service for you!
Once you add an external account to your online banking profile, we will verify the account by sending two small test deposit amounts. You will just need to check your Sun Trust Bank account to find the amounts.
Once you've made note of the two small amounts, you may log into your online banking here: https://go.td.com/2H8iXLO. From here, you may select the 'Transfers' tab, and then 'With Accounts Outside TD'. You may then select 'Preferences' to verify your external account.
