It's great to have you here on TD Helps, Mary! We'll be happy to provide you with the information you need regarding upcoming changes.
We'd like to mention that we know change can be tough, and that's why we'll be here to walk you through any questions or concerns you may have. We hope you'll get in touch with us again with any remaining questions so that you feel comfortable managing your account.
As you know, on April 25, 2016, some accounts, including personal checking accounts, will now process transactions in the order in which they are initiated. Please note that this change does not impact TD Bank personal savings accounts or business accounts at this time. Your account transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and pending transactions, will be processed in chronological order based on the date and time you make them.
Keep in mind that you will still be able to use the automated phone system to check your account and recent transactions as you do today.
You might like to take a look at this page: www.tdbank.com/newprocess, where we listed a few examples and a video about your available balance so you can check out these changes for yourself.
If you find you have other questions or thoughts, please reach us 24/7 by dialing 888-888-0130 or by sending us a Secure Message from within your Online Banking account. You can also reply to us here on TD Helps!
Mary, we hope all of this information was helpful and that you won't hesitate to reach out to us again with any other questions you might have. Thanks and we wish you a great rest of your week!
