It sounds like you're using TD Debit Card Advance. It’s a great program that allows TD Bank to pay some of your debit card transactions even if the funds are not available.
Because this is a discretionary service where overdraft availability is determined at the time the card is swiped or processed, we can never guarantee that your transaction will be approved prior to you attempting it. There are several factors that go into the decision to pay the overdraft or not, including the age of the account, the balance of the account and the past number of overdraft occurrences.
